If you love to teach, ask about teaching a class. Volunteers are always most welcome for our arts events, Red Gallery/Gift shop, office work... Visit the SCAC home page to find out about current and upcoming exhibits. Check into the other arts groups as well by our "Friends" links at the left - from artists' cooperative to visual arts exhibits and classes, to theater, music, and dance performances there's a vibrant variety of arts activities to enjoy.
Current Classes and Events
Visit us at our location at 117 North Water Street, in the Scott County Arts & Cultural Center. Our usual hours are T-Sat 12 noon to 4 pm. If Scott County schools are closed, the ArtZone office will be closed as well. Contact your instructor to determine if your particular class will meet or not; class cancellation is at the instructor's discretion. I will be checking messages from home so please leave a voicemail and I'll get back to you (sometimes I'm in the building and just don't get to the phone fast enough).
The April/May Schedule is out (thanks for your patience) Click here to view or download the complete schedule in PDF format. To register, call 502.867.0060. Don't have your instructor's contact information? Ask Beth! IF YOU DON'T SEE A CLASS YOU WANT, ask for A CUSTOM CLASS! We will do our best to arrange one for you.
To sign up for a class, please complete a class registration form. Forms may be brought in person to the office at 117 N Water Street or mailed to the ArtZone, PO Box 1126, Georgetown KY 40324. Please make checks payable to Scott County Arts Consortium. Or call to reserve a space with prepayment by credit card.
If you have missed the first class, call to see if you can still join the class.
If you are signing up a student under the age of 18, we require a completed and signed medical release form which may be brought to The ArtZone during the first session.
