See some never before exhibited art by the Coopers – nibble on traditional Kentucky appetizers and listen to the sounds of some of Kentucky’s favorite tunes recorded by the Kentucky Folk Art Center. View the dynamic Luthier installation during the last year of this great traveling exhibit.
Wednesday evening join us at 7 pm to read from (or listen to favorite selections from African American authors). The Gallery opens at 6 pm to feature artworks created by students at the Ed Davis Learning Center as they explored drawing and clay as they learned about the life of Dave Drake, potter,poet and for a time, enslaved. It is also another chance to enjoy the splendid exhibit.

The Scott County Arts Consortium is gearing up for the annual Gallery & Gift Holiday Market at the Arts & Cultural Center. Please mark your calendar and plan to shop from November 5 through December 19. More than 35 local and regional artists and artisans are participating in the market. You’ll see original fine art and unique crafts, and one-of-a-kind gift items for everyone on your list. You’ll find beautiful paintings, gorgeous jewelry, a variety of ceramic art both decorative and functional, ornaments, books, fabric art, cards, calendars, and so much more.
