American Academy of Equine Art Fall Art Show and Sale

A truly fabulous exhibition and sale by the American Academy of Equine Art, hosted by the Scott County Arts Consortium (SCAC), will be held at the Arts & Cultural Center/Welcome Center, the renovated historic jailer’s house at 117 North Water Street in Georgetown KY.  The exhibit will open to the public on September 16 as part of the Art & Antique Walk,  5-8 PM. An invitational gala to meet the artists will be held on September 17, 6-9 PM, a $20 donation is suggested. A special reception for collectors will be held on September 18, 4-6 PM.

This gorgeous collection by some wonderful artists from across this nation, and even as far away as New Zealand is not be missed.  The exhibit will run through October 22. Gallery hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from noon until 7 PM, Sundays from 1-5 PM through October 10th, thereafter Tuesday – Saturday noon – 4 pm and by appointment. Just call (502) 863-0026. Both the AAEA and SCAC are non-profit community and education-minded organizations, and are privileged to collaborate on this fine show.
