Share the vision!

Visitors, Volunteers, Members, and Sponsors Welcome!

You are invited to share the vision …

You can help to create a “state of the arts” facility that any community would be proud to call its own.

Scott County has it all:  art, architecture, history, education, antiques, boutiques, horses, farming, business and industry.

Centers for social and cultural development are key to the future of community development.

The Scott County Arts Consortium exists to serve the community. Programs are developed through personal involvement and partnerships to provide positive opportunities to reach personal and community goals together.

As a community cultural center, the focus is on sharing information, inspiration, knowledge, and support in a welcoming environment of inclusion.

Phase I
Jailer’s House Renovation, Completed Dec 2006

After much dedication and hard work it is with pride that we opened to the public the 1870’s historic jailer’s house, which features a welcome center, gallery and gallery shop, arts office, public space, and kitchenette to support meetings and receptions.

Phase II
A “Jewel” Of An Education Center!

The doors will open once again to what was to unlock what can be…   The 1892 historic jail, the architectural “jewel of Kentucky county jails” is slated next for renovation. It will provide multipurpose community use, teaching studios for visual arts, a ceramic and clay studio.

Phase III
Innovative gallery center!

A contemporary addition will complete the dream and give us a greatly enhanced exhibit space, a music and dance area, and support for the multi-purpose area.
